Timing

Wedding coverage is full day, 8 hours, and typically I try to arrive about 10 minutes early. No worries at all if you are right on time, but if you are able to be a bit early so we can sync cameras, that's great.

Payment

Payment is $25/hr and I will send this on the day of the wedding via Venmo, PayPal, or if there is another way that is more accessible to you. Please let me know in advance if you will need the payment in cash or check. I can also compensate you for gas, which can be discussed on the day of the wedding as well.

Files & backups

Usually, I will have second shooters use their own SD cards simply because then there is no hassle about providing them with the files later. I will, however, provide you with a second SD card to shoot on if your camera has dual slots, and we will work on backing up the photos on my laptop & hard drive during the reception. I ask that you do not delete the files from your SD card until a couple of weeks after the wedding, just so we have the files like quadruple backed up and there are no issues later on.

Posting

Posting photos from the wedding on your social media and website is allowed, but I do request that you wait until after I have posted the wedding, and please note when posting that you were second shooting the wedding for @aliyahgraceburton. For website usage, I do ask that you keep the photos for secondary pages and do not use them for the front banner image of your site.

Responsibilities

Your role will mainly be getting secondary angles during the ceremony and other times throughout the day. Other duties may include carrying bags, being a "runner" to and from places for me, and potentially taking photos of the bridesmaids/groomsmen without my help. These types of photos will involve a few variations of a group photo and then individuals with the bride/groom and each of their bridesmaids/groomsmen.

Food

I will do my best to have snacks & vitamin water for the day of! You will also be served the main meal on the wedding day :)

My style

I’m super chill and super focused at the same time on wedding days. I know that this page is a lot of expectations but I like to be clear and kind with second shooters so that we are both on the same page! On the day of the wedding, expect to meet amazing people (I love forming relationships with guests/wedding party) and PARTAYYY (I may or may not be dancing on the dance floor).
